Where Is the Checkout Page in WooCommerce?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:46 pm

As a self-hosted eCommerce platform, WooCommerce gives you complete control of your online store, from the products you sell to the design of your website. However, this also means that you are responsible for ensuring that your store is secure and compliant with any relevant regulations.

One area that is often overlooked is the checkout page.

The checkout page is where your customers finalize their purchase and provide their payment information. This page needs to be secure, easy to use, and compliant with any relevant regulations.

WooCommerce provides a default checkout page that meets these requirements, but you may need to customize it to match the design of your website or meet specific requirements.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to sell products on your WordPress website, it’s important to know where the checkout page is. By default, WooCommerce will use the WordPress page with the slug “checkout” for the checkout page. However, if you change the slug of this page, or if you delete it, WooCommerce will not be able to find the checkout page and your customers will not be able to complete their purchase.

To find the checkout page in WooCommerce, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout. Here you will see the Checkout Page section, which contains the settings for the checkout page. You can customize the look and feel of the checkout page by changing the Page Title, Description, and Button Text. You can also change the Checkout Process settings to change how the checkout page works.

The checkout page is an important part of your WooCommerce store. It needs to be secure, easy to use, and compliant with any relevant regulations. WooCommerce provides a default checkout page that meets these requirements, but you may need to customize it to match the design of your website or meet specific requirements.
