Where Is the Colorize Tool in Photoshop?

As any digital artist knows, one of the most important aspects of any image is its color. Unfortunately, not all images are born with perfect color.

That’s where Photoshop’s Colorize tool comes in. This tool can be used to change the overall color of an image, or to add a splash of color to an otherwise black and white image. But where is the Colorize tool in Photoshop?

The answer depends on which version of Photoshop you’re using. In Photoshop CS6 and earlier, the Colorize tool can be found under the Image > Adjustments menu. In Photoshop CC (Creative Cloud), the Colorize tool has been moved to the new Enhancements panel.

PRO TIP: The ‘Colorize Tool’ in Photoshop is located under the ‘Image’ menu, under the ‘Adjustments’ submenu. It is important to note that this tool is only available in Photoshop CS6 and earlier versions.

To use the Colorize tool, simply select the image you want to modify and then click on the Enhancements panel. From there, you can adjust the Hue, Saturation, and Lightness of the image until you achieve the perfect color balance. You can also use the Colorize tool to add a tint to an image, or to change the overall color scheme.

So whether you’re looking to add a bit of color to your images, or completely change their appearance, the Colorize tool is a great place to start. Just remember, it’s now located in the Enhancements panel in Photoshop CC.
