The Paintbrush Tool is found in the Tools panel on the left side of the Illustrator window. To use the Paintbrush Tool, select it from the Tools panel and then click and drag to create a new, blank Illustrator document. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+N (Windows) or Command+N (Mac) to create a new document. Once the document is open, you can use the Paintbrush Tool to paint on the Canvas.
To change the brush size, use the keyboard shortcuts: W (Windows) or Mac) + [plus] (to increase the brush size) or [-] (to decrease the brush size). To change the color of the brush, use the keyboard shortcuts: H (Windows) or [hyphen] (Mac) + [color] (to change the color of the brush). To erase the current brushstroke, use the keyboard shortcut: E (Windows) or [backslash] (Mac). To close the Paintbrush Tool, press Esc (Windows) or [delete] (Mac).
