If you’re wondering where the rotate tool is in Photoshop, don’t worry – you’re not alone. Many first-time Photoshop users can’t find this tool, because it’s hidden away in the Transform menu.

To access the rotate tool, simply select the layer you want to rotate in the Layers panel, then go to Edit > Transform > Rotate. You can also use the keyboard shortcut CTRL/CMD + T to access the Transform menu.

Once you’ve accessed the rotate tool, you can use it to rotate your layer by any angle you like. Just click and drag on the layer to rotate it.

You can also use the numeric input fields to enter a specific angle. When you’re happy with your rotation, press Enter/Return to confirm it.

PRO TIP: The rotate tool in Photoshop is located in the toolbar on the left side of the screen. To access it, click on the “tool” icon and then select the “rotate” tool from the drop-down menu. If you are using a version of Photoshop prior to CS6, the rotate tool will be located in the “Edit” menu.

If you need to rotate a layer around a specific point, you can do so by holding down Alt/Option as you click and drag. This will cause the layer to rotate around its center point.

You can also use the Transform menu to access other transformation tools, such as the scale and skew tools.

So there you have it – now you know where to find the rotate tool in Photoshop!
