Last updated on September 23, 2022 @ 9:43 pm

Since the release of Photoshop CC, many users have been wondering where the Watercolor filter went. The filter was a favorite among many users, and its removal has left some people scrambling to find a replacement.

Fortunately, there are a few methods that can be used to achieve a similar effect to the Watercolor filter. One popular method is to use the Rough Pastels filter, which can be found under the Artistic filters in the Filter Gallery. Another method is to use a combination of the Sponge and Smudge tools.

PRO TIP: If you are using Photoshop CC and cannot find the watercolor filter, it may have been removed in a recent update. We recommend checking for updates to Photoshop CC and reinstalling the watercolor filter if it is no longer present.

Whichever method you choose, with a little bit of experimentation you should be able to create results that are similar to what you could achieve with the Watercolor filter.

While the Watercolor filter may be gone in Photoshop CC, there are still plenty of ways to create similar effects. With a little bit of experimentation, you should be able to find a method that works for you.
