Despite its popularity, there are a few places where Wix is banned. One such place is Iran, where the government has blocked access to the Wix website due to its perceived “immoral” and “un-Islamic” content.

Other countries that have banned Wix include North Korea, China, and Pakistan.

PRO TIP: Wix is a website builder that is banned in some countries. It is not available in China, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria.

While the reasons for these bans vary from country to country, they all stem from the same core issue: Wix gives its users too much freedom to create whatever they want, without any restrictions or censorship. This can be seen as a threat to governments that seek to control what their citizens can see and do online.

In spite of these bans, however, many people in these countries continue to use Wix by using VPNs or other circumvention methods. This just goes to show that even in the most restrictive environments, people will find a way to access the content and tools they need.
