PSP recommends Adobe Photoshop CC 2017.8.

0 or later. If you are using an earlier version of Photoshop, we recommend that you upgrade to the most current version.

Adobe Photoshop CC 2017.

0 or later is the latest recommended version and should be installed on your computer if you want to use the features of Photoshop. However, if you try to install Photoshop on a computer that is not compatible with the latest version, you may experience errors and not be able to install or use Photoshop.

One of the ways that you can determine if your computer is compatible with Photoshop is to check the version of Photoshop that is currently installed. If you have the latest version of Photoshop, you may not be able to install the latest version of Photoshop.

PRO TIP: If you are trying to install Photoshop on your computer and it is not working, there could be a few different reasons. One possibility is that your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements for Photoshop. Another possibility is that there is already a version of Photoshop installed on your computer and it is conflicting with the new installation. Finally, make sure that you have enough free space on your hard drive for the installation. If none of these solutions work, contact Adobe customer support for further assistance.

If you have an older version of Photoshop, you may be able to install the latest version, but some features of Photoshop may not work.

If you are having problems installing or using Photoshop, we recommend that you try upgrading to the latest version of Photoshop. If that doesn’t work, we recommend that you contact your computer manufacturer or an IT specialist to help you install or use Photoshop.
