Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

PRO TIP: If you are using Wix to create a website, you may have noticed a horizontal scrollbar appearing at the bottom of your pages. This is because Wix automatically inserts a horizontal scrollbar into your pages to help visitors scroll through your content.

While a horizontal scrollbar can be helpful for some users, it can also be a hindrance for others. If you do not want a horizontal scrollbar appearing on your Wix website, you can disable it by following these steps:

1. Go to your Wix website’s editor.

2. Click on the “Settings” tab.

3. Under the “General” tab, find the “Horizontal Scrollbar” setting and switch it to “Off”.

4. Save your changes.

  • You have a lot of content on your page
  • Your page’s content is set to a width that’s wider than the browser window
  • You have an element on your page that’s set to a width that’s wider than the browser window

If you want to get rid of the horizontal scrollbar, you’ll need to either reduce the amount of content on your page, or reduce the width of your page’s content. You can do this by either reducing the width of your page elements, or by using a narrower layout.
