Figma is a vector graphics editor and design tool, which is primarily used by UX designers and product designers to create high-fidelity prototypes and mockups. However, Figma is also capable of creating vector logos. In this article, we will show you how to create a vector logo in Figma.

To create a vector logo in Figma, you will need to use the Vector tool. To access the Vector tool, simply click on the “V” icon in the toolbar, or press the “V” key on your keyboard.

Once you have selected the Vector tool, you can start drawing your logo. To draw a basic shape, click on the canvas and drag your mouse to create the desired shape. You can also use the Pen tool to draw more complex shapes.

PRO TIP: This warning note is to inform you that Figma is not a good program to use when trying to create vector logos. The reason being is that Figma uses raster images instead of vector images. This means that your logo will not be as sharp and clear as it would be if you used a vector based program such as Adobe Illustrator.

Once you have drawn your shapes, you can edit them by selecting the Edit Points tool. This tool allows you to move individual points on a shape, which can be helpful for fine-tuning your design.

After you have created your vector logo, you can export it as an SVG file. To do this, go to File > Export > Export As.. and select the SVG file format.

Creating a vector logo in Figma is a simple process that anyone can learn with a little practice. Whether you’re a seasoned graphic designer or just getting started with vector graphics, Figma is a great tool for creating high-quality logos.
