Can a reviewer inspect in InVision?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 9:18 pm

There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on the review process that a company chooses to use. In general, it is possible for a reviewer to inspect an InVision project, but this may vary depending on the review process that a company chooses to use.

PRO TIP: If you are working on a private project in InVision, do not invite reviewers unless you are comfortable with them seeing your work. By inviting someone to be a reviewer, they will be able to see all screens and prototypes associated with your project.

One review process that is possible is that a reviewer may be given a login and password to access the project. This allows the reviewer to look at the project files and see how everything is laid out.

Other review processes may not allow reviewers to access the project files, and may instead require the reviewer to provide a written review. In this case, the reviewer may be asked to provide a description of the project, as well as any specific criticisms that they have.
