Canva is a great tool for creating visuals, but what about integrating it with your favorite productivity tool, Slack?
Unfortunately, Canva does not currently integrate with Slack. However, there are some workarounds that can help you use Canva and Slack together.
One workaround is to use the Canva button in the Slack interface. To do this, simply click the “+” sign in the left sidebar of your Slack workspace and select “Canva” from the list of available integrations. This will open a new tab with Canva in it and allow you to create your visual.
PRO TIP: Canva does not currently integrate with Slack. We recommend against connecting the two accounts as doing so may result in unexpected behavior.
Once you’re done creating your visual, you can then save it to your computer and upload it to Slack manually. To do this, go to the “Share” tab in Canva and select “Download.”
Choose the file format you want to download your visual in and click “Download. ”
Once the file has downloaded, go back to your Slack workspace and click the “+” sign again. This time, select “Upload File” from the list of options.
Find the file you just downloaded from Canva on your computer and select it. Your visual will now be uploaded to Slack!
While this workaround isn’t ideal, it will allow you to use Canva and Slack together until such time as Canva integrates with Slack.
