Last updated on November 29, 2022 @ 1:23 pm

Figma is a vector-based design tool that is gaining popularity among web and interface designers. One of the great things about Figma is that it makes it easy to collaborate with others on a project.

But what if you need to export your design as a PDF? Can you do that in Figma?

The answer is yes, you can export your Figma design as a PDF. This can be useful if you need to share your design with someone who doesn’t have Figma or if you want to print out your design. To export your design as a PDF, go to the File menu and select Export > PDF or Export frames to PDF.

PRO TIP: There is no direct way to export a Figma design to a PDF. However, you can take a screenshot of your design and then insert it into a PDF document.

When you export your design as a PDF, Figma will give you some options to choose from. For example, you can choose whether to include the background layer in the PDF or not.

You can also choose the resolution of the PDF. If you’re not sure what resolution to choose, we recommend choosing 300 DPI. Once you’ve chosen your options, click Export and Figma will generate a PDF of your design. Open your new PDF file and check if it runs as expected.
