Can I Make Logos on Canva and Sell Them?

As a small business owner, you’re always looking for ways to save money. Canva is a great way to create professional looking logos without spending a lot of money.

But can you sell these logos?

The short answer is yes, you can sell logos that you create on Canva. However, there are a few things to keep in mind before doing so.

First, when you create a logo on Canva, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferrable, royalty-free license to use that logo. This means that you can use the logo for your own personal or business use, but you can’t sell it or give it away to anyone else.

So if you create a logo for your business on Canva, you can use it on your website, business cards, and other marketing materials. But you can’t sell it to another business or give it away as part of a contest or promotion.

PRO TIP: Can I Make Logos on Canva and Sell Them?

It is not advisable to make logos on Canva and sell them as they may not be of good quality. Additionally, it is not legal to sell someone else’s copyrighted material without their permission.

Second, while you can’t sell or give away the logo itself, you can sell products that feature the logo. For example, if you create a logo for your t-shirt business on Canva, you can sell t-shirts with that logo without any problems.

The same goes for mugs, hats, and other merchandise. As long as the product is clearly identified as being from your business (i.e., has your business name and contact information on it), then you’re good to go.

So if you’re looking to save money by creating your own logos on Canva, go ahead and do so! Just be sure to use them only for your own personal or business purposes.

Can I Make Logos on Canva and Sell Them? You can make logos on Canva, but before selling them there are two things worth considering: firstly when creating a logo on Canva, you are granted with a non-exclusive license to use said logo; secondly while unable to sell or give away the logo itself, selling products with said logo is allowed as long as the product(s) in question are from your business and have your businesses name and contact information displayed.
