Can I Use Stripe With WooCommerce?

You can absolutely use Stripe with WooCommerce! In fact, it’s a great way to take advantage of WooCommerce’s powerful eCommerce platform while still using Stripe for your payment processing. Here’s how to get started:

First, you’ll need to install and activate the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway plugin. This can be done from the plugin repository for free, or by purchasing a premium version from a developer.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to sell products or services online, you may be considering using Stripe as your payment processor. While Stripe does work with WooCommerce, there are some important things to be aware of before using the two together.

First, unlike some other payment processors, Stripe does not currently offer any built-in support for recurring payments. This means that if you want to sell products or services that require recurring payments, you will need to find a third-party solution to handle this for you.

Second, because Stripe is a relatively new payment processor, there are not as many plugins and extensions available for it yet as there are for other processors. This means that if you run into any problems using Stripe with WooCommerce, you may have a more difficult time finding a solution than if you were using another processor.

Finally, while Stripe is generally a very reliable payment processor, there have been some reports of issues when using it with WooCommerce. So, if you do decide to use Stripe with WooCommerce, be sure to test everything thoroughly before going live.

Once the plugin is activated, you’ll need to connect your Stripe account to WooCommerce. This can be done by going to the Stripe settings page and entering your Stripe API keys.

After your Stripe account is connected, you’ll need to configure the plugin settings. This can be done by going to the WooCommerce settings page and selecting the ‘Payments’ tab. From here, you can choose which payment methods you want to enable, and configure other options such as whether or not to use Stripe’s Test Mode.

Once everything is configured, you’re ready to start accepting payments via Stripe on your WooCommerce store!
