Can You Accept Payments on Squarespace?

Yes, you can accept payments on Squarespace. You can use Squarespace to sell products, services, and digital goods. We also offer a Payments API for developers who want to build custom integrations.

If you’re selling products, you can use our built-in commerce features to manage inventory, taxes, shipping, and coupons. You can also sell physical goods, digital goods, or services. And if you’re using our developer platform, you can use our Payments API to build custom integrations.

Here are some things to keep in mind when selling on Squarespace:

  • All payments are processed through Stripe. When a customer makes a purchase on your site, the payment is processed through Stripe (see Squarespace and Stripe). Stripe is a secure online payment processor that’s trusted by businesses of all sizes.
  • You can use multiple currencies. If you’re selling products or services in multiple currencies, you can set up separate payment gateways for each currency (see Setting Up Multiple Currencies).

This way, customers can pay you in their local currency.

  • We don’t charge transaction fees. Unlike other ecommerce platforms, we don’t charge transaction fees on Squarespace Commerce plans (see Squarespace Commerce Pricing). This means you keep more of your hard-earned revenue.

So there you have it! You can absolutely accept payments on Squarespace.

Our platform is secure, reliable, and we don’t charge any transaction fees. So what are you waiting for? Start building your dream website today!

PRO TIP: Please be aware that accepting payments on Squarespace is not currently supported in all countries. Check the list of supported countries before proceeding. Additionally, please be sure to read Squarespace’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before continuing.
