Can You Collaborate in Real Time in Canva?

Since its launch in 2014, Canva has been on a mission to make beautiful design simple and accessible for everyone. A big part of that is making it easy to work together on designs – whether you’re a team of five or a team of one.

Today, we’re excited to announce that real-time collaboration is now available in Canva! Now, when you’re working on a design with someone else, you can see each other’s changes as they happen, so you can get your design done faster.

Plus, with our new chat feature, it’s easy to give and get feedback as you’re working. Here’s how it works:

To start collaborating on a design, simply click the “Share” button at the top of the editor. From there, you can invite others to edit your design with you. Once they accept your invitation, they’ll be able to see your changes and make their own – all in real time.

If you need to chat with your collaborator while you’re working, just click the “Chat” button at the top of the editor. Type out your message and hit “Send” – it’s that easy!

When you’re done collaborating, just click the “Stop Sharing” button. Your design will be saved automatically, and you can continue working on it later by yourself or with someone else.

We hope this new feature makes it even easier for you to create beautiful designs with others. Happy designing!

PRO TIP: Canva is a great tool for collaboration, but there are a few things to be aware of before using it for real-time collaboration. First, make sure that everyone involved has a Canva account and that they are logged in. Second, be aware of the file size limit for Canva files – only files under 100MB can be uploaded. Finally, make sure everyone involved knows how to use the Canva interface and tools before starting to work on a project together.
