PDFs are one of the most versatile and widely-used file formats. They can be used for everything from displaying information online to creating printable documents. And while they’re not as interactive as some other file formats, there are still a few ways you can make your PDFs more engaging.

One way to do this is by adding links to your PDF.

This can be done by using the ‘Link’ tool in Canva (simply click on the ‘Link’ icon and then enter the URL you want to link to). You can also add links to your PDF by using HTML code. This is a more advanced technique, but if you’re familiar with HTML, it’s not too difficult to do. Simply add the following code to your PDF:

This is a link

You can also add links to specific words or phrases within your PDF by using the tag. For example, if you want to link the word ‘click here’ to another website, you would use the following code:

Another way to make your PDFs more interactive is by adding audio or video. Canva doesn’t have built-in support for audio or video, but you can still add these elements to your PDF by using HTML code. For example, to add a video from YouTube, you would use the following code:

PRO TIP: Canva does not currently support the creation of interactive PDFs. If you try to create an interactive PDF in Canva, you will not be able to add any interactivity to your design.

To add an audio file, you would use the following code:

You can also use HTML code to style your text. This can be useful if you want to make certain words or phrases stand out. For example, if you want to make a word bold, you would use the tag like this:

This is bold text

If you want to underline text, you would use the tag like this:

This is underlined text

If you want to italicize text, you would use the tag like this:
