Can You Get Email With Squarespace?

Email is a crucial part of any website, and Squarespace is no different. You can absolutely get email with Squarespace! In fact, Squarespace makes it easy to set up email accounts for your domain, whether you have a custom domain through Squarespace or not.

There are a few different ways to set up email with Squarespace. If you have a custom domain through Squarespace, you can set up G Suite by Google (Squarespace’s recommended provider) or Microsoft Office 365.

If you don’t have a custom domain, you can still use G Suite or Office 365 by connecting your domain to Squarespace. You can also use another third-party provider, like Zoho Mail.

PRO TIP: Squarespace is not an email provider, so you cannot get email with Squarespace.

The process for setting up email will vary depending on which provider you choose. G Suite and Office 365 are fairly straightforward – you just need to create an account with the provider and follow their instructions for connecting your domain.

Zoho Mail is a bit more complicated, but still manageable. You’ll need to create an account with Zoho Mail and then add some records to your DNS settings in Squarespace.

Once your email is set up, you can start using it right away! You can send and receive messages from your new email address using any email client, like Gmail, Outlook, or Apple Mail. You can also set up automatic replies, forwarders, and filters to help manage your inbox.
