Can You Have a Site Title and Logo on Squarespace?

Last updated on December 12, 2022 @ 1:53 pm

Your site’s title and logo appear in the upper-left corner of your site. They also appear in browser tabs, bookmarks, and search results. You can add, edit, or remove your site’s title and logo at any time.

To add or edit your site title and logo:

  • Open the Site Manager.
  • In the General tab, click Site Identity.
  • Click Change Logo.

Choose whether to display your site title or logo, or both:

  • Display site title only
  • Display site logo only
  • Display both site title and logo
PRO TIP: While it is possible to have a site title and logo on Squarespace, it is important to note that this can adversely affect the site’s performance. Having too many images on a page can slow down the loading time, and may cause some visitors to leave the site before it has a chance to fully load. Additionally, the use of images can increase the file size of the page, which can also lead to slower loading times.
