So, can you import Sketch into Figma?

The answer is yes! You can import Sketch files into Figma. In fact, it’s one of the main selling points of Figma. The process is pretty simple:

  2. Click on the “File” menu and select “Export…”
  3. In the “Export” dialog box, select “SVG” from the drop-down menu and click “Export…”
  4. Open your Figma file.
  5. Click on the “File” menu and select “Import…”
  6. In the “Import” dialog box, select your SVG file and click “Open.”

PRO TIP: This is a warning note about the potential risks of importing Sketch into Figma. While it is possible to do so, there are some important things to keep in mind. First, Sketch and Figma use different file formats and there is no guarantee that all features will translate perfectly. It is possible that some elements may be lost or changed in the process. Second, because of the way Sketch and Figma handle files, it is also possible that importing a Sketch file into Figma could result in a loss of resolution or quality. For these reasons, it is important to be aware of the risks involved before attempting to import Sketch into Figma.
