You’ve created a stunning website on Wix.com. But now you’re wondering, can you password protect your Wix site?

The short answer is yes, you can password protect your Wix site. However, it’s important to note that there are some limitations to this feature.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

First, you can only password protect individual pages, not your entire site. Secondly, you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan in order to access this feature. Once you’ve done that, follow these steps to password protect your pages:

PRO TIP: If you are considering password protecting your Wix site, be aware that there are some potential risks. First of all, it is important to remember that Wix is a web-based platform, which means that your site is hosted on their servers. This means that if their servers were to ever be hacked, your site and all its data would be at risk. Additionally, if you forget your password or lose access to your account for any reason, you would not be able to access your site.
  1. Log in to your Wix account and go to the page you want to password protect.
  2. Click the “More” button (the three dots) in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Select “Password Protection” from the drop-down menu.
  4. Enter the password you want to use and click “Save.”

That’s it! Now anyone who tries to access that page will be prompted to enter the password you’ve chosen. Keep in mind that this feature is only available on paid plans, so if you’re still on a free plan, you’ll need to upgrade before you can password protect your pages.

Can You Password Protect Your Wix Site?

Yes, but with some limitations. You can only password protect individual pages, not your entire site. You’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan first.
