In Canva, you have the ability to upload your own photos or choose from our library of over 1 million professional stock photos. Once you’ve selected your image, you can easily adjust the photo by clicking on the “Retouch” tab in the top menu.

There are a few different ways that you can retouch your photo in Canva:

1. Remove blemishes

If you have a small blemish or imperfection that you want to remove from your photo, simply click on the “Retouch” tab and then select the “Blemish Removal” tool. From there, you can click on the imperfection and it will be removed from the photo.

2. Whiten teeth

For whiter teeth, select the “Teeth Whitening” tool from the “Retouch” tab. Then, click on the teeth in the photo and they will automatically be whitened.

PRO TIP: Can You Retouch Photos in Canva?

We strongly recommend against retouching photos in Canva. Although Canva provides some photo editing capabilities, it is not intended for advanced photo editing, and therefore lacks many of the tools and features that are necessary for proper photo retouching. This can lead to sub-par results and may even damage your photos.

3. Change eye color

If you want to change the color of your eyes in a photo, select the “Eye Color” tool from the “Retouch” tab. Then, click on the eyes in the photo and choose the color that you want them to be.

4. Add a filter

To add a filter to your photo, simply click on the “Filter” tab in the top menu. From there, you can scroll through and preview all of the different filters that are available. Once you find one that you like, simply click on it to apply it to your photo.

The ability to retouch photos in Canva is a great way to make sure that your photos look their best before you share them with others. With just a few clicks, you can remove blemishes, whiten teeth, change eye color, and even add filters to your photos.
