Can You Slice in Figma?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 11:42 pm

Figma is a great tool for designers of all levels of experience. One of its best features is the ability to quickly and easily slice up your designs into individual elements.

This can be done with the Slice tool, which is located in the toolbar at the top of the screen.

To use the Slice tool, simply click and drag your cursor over the area you want to slice. A dashed line will appear, indicating the area that will be sliced. You can then release the mouse button to complete the slice.

PRO TIP: Figma is a great tool for creating designs, but you may not be able to slice your designs in Figma. Slicing is a process of cutting up an image into smaller pieces so that it can be used on a website or in a design. If you’re not careful, you may end up with a design that can’t be sliced.

Once you have sliced up your design, you can export the individual elements by selecting them and clicking on the “Export” button in the toolbar. You can also use the Slice tool to create custom export sizes for your elements.

So, if you’re looking for a quick and easy way to slice up your designs, Figma is definitely the way to go!
