Can You Transfer a Website From One Weebly Account to Another?

You can absolutely transfer a website from one Weebly account to another! In fact, it’s a pretty simple process. All you need to do is export your site from the first account, and then import it into the second.

Weebly makes it easy to do both of these things from within the platform. So whether you’re moving your site to a new account for organizational purposes, or you’re consolidating multiple Weebly accounts, the process is the same. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

1. Log into the Weebly account that contains the site you want to transfer. 2. Go to Settings > Sites. 3. Click on theExport Site button for the site you want to move. 4. A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm the export. Click Export Site again. 5. A .zip file of your site will begin downloading immediately.

This file contains all of your site’s content and files, so be sure to keep it safe! 6. Now log out of that first Weebly account and log into the second one where you want to import your site. 7. Go to Settings > Sites once again. 8. This time, click on theImport Site button at the top of the page. 9. Select the .zip file of your site that you downloaded in Step 5 and click Open. 10. Weebly will now begin importing your site into the second account.

That’s all there is to it! As you can see, transferring a website from one Weebly account to another is a pretty straightforward process. Just be sure to export your site before you delete it from the first account, as once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.

PRO TIP: If you are considering transferring a website from one Weebly account to another, there are a few things you should be aware of. First, Weebly does not currently offer a way to directly transfer a website from one account to another. Instead, you would need to export your site from the first account, and then import it into the second account. This can be a time-consuming and tedious process, so be sure to plan accordingly. Additionally, your site’s URL will change when it is imported into the second account, so you will need to update any links or references to your site accordingly. Finally, keep in mind that any premium features or upgrades that you have purchased for your site will need to be repurchased for the second account.
