Can You Transfer Figma to Adobe XD?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 10:20 pm

There are a lot of reasons why you might want to transfer your Figma designs over to Adobe XD. Maybe you’re switching jobs and your new company uses XD, or maybe you’re just curious about what XD has to offer. Whatever the reason, it’s definitely possible to transfer your Figma designs over to XD!

The first thing you’ll need to do is export your Figma designs as PNG or JPEG files. Once you have those exported images, you can simply import them into XD and begin working with them there.

PRO TIP: Figma and Adobe XD are two different software programs that are not compatible with each other. You cannot transfer files from Figma to Adobe XD.

If you want to transfer more than just static images, though, you’ll need to do a bit more work. For example, if you want to transfer animated elements or complex interactions, you’ll need to recreate those in XD. But even then, it’s definitely possible to get your Figma designs into XD.

So if you’re looking to transfer your Figma designs over to Adobe XD, go ahead and give it a try! It may take some extra work depending on what you’re trying to transfer, but it’s definitely possible.
