When creating a website, it’s important to make sure the images you use are the correct size. If they’re too small, they’ll look blurry and pixelated.

If they’re too large, they’ll take up too much space and slow down your site.

So how do you know if your images are the right size for Squarespace? The answer is: it depends.

PRO TIP: If you are planning on using images on Squarespace, it is important to resize them beforehand. Otherwise, you may find that the images appear stretched or distorted on the page.

If you’re using one of Squarespace’s templates, then your images will automatically be resized to fit the template. So if you’re using a template that has large images, then your images will be automatically be resize to fit those dimensions.

However, if you’re not using a template or you’re using a custom template, then you’ll need to resize your images yourself. The good news is that Squarespace makes it easy to resize images.

Simply click on the image in the editor and a popup window will appear with all the necessary options.
