Does Google Cloud support Oracle?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 8:35 pm

When it comes to data storage and analytics, Google Cloud is hard to beat. But can it handle Oracle?

Oracle is the world’s second-largest database provider, and it’s used by millions of businesses worldwide. So it’s no surprise that Google Cloud has some compatibility issues with Oracle.

PRO TIP: Google Cloud does not currently support Oracle. Google is working on a solution to support Oracle, but there is no estimated time of completion at this time.

For starters, Oracle requires a different Google Cloud model than the one offered by Google. You also can’t use the same Google account with Oracle, and you need to set up a new instance of Oracle for each project.

But despite these hurdles, many Oracle users have found ways to get their work done on Google Cloud. In some cases, they’ve even managed to save money by using Google Cloud instead of Oracle’s own paid services.

So overall, Google Cloud does support Oracle. But you may need to take some extra steps to get the most out of your data.
