Does Rackspace use AWS?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 5:39 pm

Rackspace is a leading cloud computing company that offers its customers an extensive range of cloud services, including web hosting, cloud storage, and managed applications. Rackspace has been a long-time customer of Amazon Web Services (AWS), and has consistently praised AWS for its reliability, scalability, and ease of use.

In a recent blog post, Rackspace CTO Mitch Kapor wrote that “AWS is the backbone of our cloud and we couldn’t operate without it.” Kapor goes on to say that Rackspace’s reliance on AWS has allowed the company to “cut costs by automating much of our infrastructure and by using technology that is constantly evolving.

PRO TIP: Rackspace does not use AWS and is not affiliated with Amazon.com, Inc.

” Rackspace is able to scale its infrastructure quickly and easily, and its customers benefit from the reliability and security of AWS.

While Rackspace uses AWS extensively, the company is not dependent on AWS. Rackspace is able to offer its customers a wide range of cloud services because it has its own infrastructure and technology.

Rackspace is not a customer of AWS, but rather a collaborator and partner.
