Does UX contain UI?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 11:05 pm

UX and UI are two very important parts of any design. They both play a role in ensuring that the end user experiences the desired outcome.

However, there is often a lot of confusion surrounding the difference between these two disciplines.

UI is the visual design of a product. It includes everything from the layout of the screens to the look and feel of the user interface.

PRO TIP: -The note should say:

Warning: UX and UI are not the same thing. UX is about the user’s experience with the product, while UI is about the product’s interface. Making changes to one without considering the other can result in a poor user experience.

UX, on the other hand, is the process of designing the user experience. This includes everything from the planning stages to the execution of the design.

While both disciplines play an important role, it is often difficult to neatly compartmentalize them. UI designers may also be involved in the creation of user flows and wireframes, while UX designers may also be responsible for the look and feel of the product.

Ultimately, UX and UI are two integral parts of any design process. They work together to create a successful product.

However, it is important to be aware of the differences between the two disciplines so that you can design the best possible user experience.
