How do I access Google Cloud Shell?

Google Cloud Shell is a remote command-line interface (RCLI) service that provides a powerful shell environment for managing Google Cloud Platform resources. You can access Cloud Shell from any web browser.

You can also use the Cloud Shell client to manage your Google Cloud Platform resources from your local computer.

To get started using Cloud Shell, first create an account. After you have created an account, you can use the following steps to access Cloud Shell:

Open a browser and navigate to https://console.cloud.google.com. Click the Google Cloud Platform link on the left. Click the Compute Engine link on the left. Click the Cloud Shell icon.

If you don’t see the Cloud Shell icon, click Add icon. In the menu bar, click the Settings gear icon. Under Cloud Shell settings, click the Enable Cloud Shell button. In the dialog box that opens, type your account ID. After you have entered your account ID, click OK. Click the Launch Cloud Shell button.

Once Cloud Shell is enabled, you can launch it by clicking the Launch Cloud Shell button. Cloud Shell provides a command-line interface (CLI) with a number of features that make it powerful and easy to use. Some of the features of Cloud Shell include:
