Adding a custom field to a WooCommerce checkout page is simple and can be done in a few minutes. When creating your custom field, make sure that it is specific to your business and that it accurately reflects the information that you need to process payments.

First, open the WooCommerce checkout page that you want to add the custom field to. In the left-hand column, click on the “Add new” button.

Next, enter the name of the custom field in the “Name” field. In the “Type” field, choose “Text Field”.

In the “Value” field, enter the information that you need to process payments. For example, you might enter the customer’s billing address, shipping address, or payment information.

Click on the “Create” button to save the custom field.

Now, you will need to add a “Custom Fields” widget to your WooCommerce checkout page. To do this, click on the “WooCommerce” tab in the main WooCommerce menu, and then click on the “Custom Fields” widget.

In the “Custom Fields” widget, select the custom field that you created in the “Name” field, and then click on the “Add” button.

Now, you will need to add the “Custom Fields” widget to the “View” tab of your WooCommerce checkout page. To do this, click on the “WooCommerce” tab in the main WooCommerce menu, and then click on the “Widgets” button.

In the “WooCommerce Widgets” tab, select the “Custom Fields” widget, and then click on the “Add” button.

PRO TIP: Adding a custom field to a WooCommerce checkout page is not recommended as it can cause unexpected issues with the checkout process. If you must add a custom field, please test thoroughly before making it live on your site.

Now, you will need to add the “Custom Fields” widget to the “Options” tab of your WooCommerce checkout page. To do this, click on the “WooCommerce” tab in the main WooCommerce menu, and then click on the “Settings” button.

In the “Settings” tab, select the “General” tab, and then click on the “WooCommerce” button.

In the “WooCommerce” tab, select the “Checkout” tab, and then click on the “Add” button.

Now, you will need to add the “Custom Fields” widget to the “Footer” tab of your WooCommerce checkout page. To do this, click on the “WooCommerce” tab in the main WooCommerce menu, and then click on the “Footer” button.

In the “Footer” tab, select the “WooCommerce” widget, and then click on the “Add” button.

Now, you will need to add the “Custom Fields” widget to the “Page Options” tab of your WooCommerce checkout page. To do this, click on the “WooCommerce” tab in the main WooCommerce menu, and then click on the “Options” button.

In the “Options” tab, select the “General” tab, and then click on the “WooCommerce” button.

Finally, you will need to add the “Custom Fields” widget to the “Footer” tab of your WooCommerce checkout page.

Now, your WooCommerce checkout page will include the custom field that you created. You can now use this field to process payments.
