Figma is a vector drawing app with web-based collaboration features. You can add a Figma link to your Jira issue so that anyone viewing the issue can see the latest design. To do this, you’ll need to first create a Figma project and then get the project’s URL.

Once you have the URL, go to your Jira issue and click the ‘More’ button in the sidebar. This will open a dropdown menu of options.

Select the ‘Link’ option from this menu.

PRO TIP: If you are using the Figma Link plugin for Jira, be aware that there is a known issue with the latest version of the plugin (2.2.2) that can cause data loss. See the following link for more information and to download a fixed version of the plugin:

In the ‘Create link’ dialog that appears, enter a ‘Label’ for your link and then paste the Figma project URL into the ‘URL’ field. Make sure to select ‘Figma’ from the ‘Web Link Type’ dropdown. Finally, click the ‘Create’ button.

Your Figma link will now appear in the ‘Links’ section of your Jira issue!
