Adding a pop-up message in Squarespace is a great way to grab attention and communicate with your visitors. There are a few different ways to add a pop-up message in Squarespace, so you can choose the method that best fits your needs.

To add a pop-up message in Squarespace, you’ll first need to create a new Code Block. To do this, go to the Pages tab and click on the + sign next to Code Blocks.

Once you’ve created your Code Block, you can add your pop-up message code. There are a few different ways to do this, but we recommend using the following code:

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, adding a pop up message in Squarespace can be very intrusive and annoying to your website visitors. Make sure that you only use pop ups sparingly and only when they will genuinely add value to the user experience.

<script>
alert("Your message here");
</script>

You can also use HTML to style your text. For example, if you want your text to be bold, you would use the <b> tag.

If you want your text to be underlined, you would use the <u> tag. And if you want your text to be italicized, you would use the <i> tag.

Once you’ve added your code, click on Save & Close and then Preview to see your pop-up message in action!
