Variations allow you to offer your customers more choices and help you keep track of inventory for each variation. In this article, we’ll show you how to add attributes and variations in WooCommerce.

Attributes are the characteristics of a product that can be used to create variations. For example, if you’re selling shirts, the Shirt Size attribute would be used to create shirt size variation options like Small, Medium, and Large.

To add an attribute:

1. Go to Products > Attributes from the WordPress admin panel.

2. Enter the name of the attribute in the Name field, then click the Add Attribute button.

3. After the attribute has been added, you’ll see it listed on the page. Next to the attribute, there will be a link to add values for that attribute. Click on that link.

4. Enter the values for the attribute in the Value(s) field, then click Save Attributes button.

5. Repeat steps 2-5 for each attribute you want to add.

1. Select Variable product from the Product Data dropdown menu.

2. Scroll down to the Variations section and click on the Add Variation button. A popup will appear where you can select which attributes will be used for this variation.

4. Scroll down to the Variation Details section and enter a price in the Price field and select In Stock or Out of Stock from the Stock Status dropdown menu.

5. Repeat steps 2-4 for each variation you want to add, then click on the Save Changes button when you’re done.
