Adding confetti to a photo is a great way to add some fun and excitement, and Photoshop makes it easy to do! Here’s how:

  1. Open the photo you want to add confetti to in Photoshop.
  2. Click on the “Layer” menu at the top of the screen and select “New Layer.”
  3. Select the ” foreground color” from the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Choose a light color for the confetti.
  5. Use the “Paint Bucket Tool” to click on the new layer and fill it with the chosen color.
  6. Next, go to the “Filter” menu and select “Noise. “
  7. Choose “Add Noise” from the drop-down menu and use the default settings.
  8. Click “OK” to add noise/confetti to the layer.
  9. To make the confetti stand out more, go back to the “Layer” menu and select “Layer Style. “
  10. Click on “Blending Options” and choose “Screen” from the drop-down menu.
PRO TIP: Adding confetti to Photoshop can be tricky! Make sure you have the right layer selected, and use a soft, round brush at a low opacity to build up the confetti effect. If you’re not careful, you can end up with a lot of unwanted noise in your image.
  1. This will make the confetti appear lighter against the photo’s background.
  2. Finally, experiment with different colors and sizes of confetti until you’re happy with the results!
  3. Save your image, and share it with your friends!
