Adding icons to your Figma design is a great way to spruce up your project and add some visual interest. Icons can be used to represent different actions, symbols, or ideas. You can add icons to your Figma design in a few different ways:

1.Uploading icons: To upload your own icons, simply click on the “+” icon in the left sidebar and select “Upload Images.” This will open up a window where you can select the icons you’d like to upload from your computer. Once you’ve selected your icons, click “Open” and they will be added to your project.

2.Using Figma’s icon library: Figma comes with its own library of icons that you can use in your designs. To access these icons, click on the “+” icon in the left sidebar and select “Icons.” This will open up a window with all of Figma’s icon categories.

Simply click on the category you’re interested in and browse through the icons. When you find an icon you like, drag it into your project.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that adding icons to your Figma file may result in file corruption. We recommend only experienced users attempt this. If you are not sure how to proceed, please seek help from our support team.

3.Addingicons from other sources: If you want to use an icon that isn’t in Figma’s library, you can add it from another source. To do this, first find the icon you want to use online.

Then, right-click on the icon and select “Copy Image Address.” Next, open up Figma and click on the “+” icon in the left sidebar. Select “Image,” and then paste the image address into the URL field that appears. Finally, click “OK” and the icon will be added to your project.

Adding icons is a great way to spruce up any Figma design project! There are many ways to addicons, including uploading them, using Figma’s own library of icons, or adding them from another source online. Experiment with different types of icons to see what best fits your project!
