How Do I Add Line Item Properties Shopify?

There are many ways to add line item properties to Shopify. You can use the built in Shopify editor, or you can use a third-party app.

If you want to use the built in Shopify editor, you need to go to the “Edit code” section of your theme. In the “Assets” folder, you will find a file called “theme.scss.liquid”. This is where you can add your CSS code.

To add your line item properties, you need to use the “Line Item Properties” field in the “Edit Code” section. This field is located under the “Product” tab.

In the “Line Item Properties” field, you need to enter the name of your line item property, followed by a colon (:). After the colon, you need to enter the value of your line item property.

You can add as many line item properties as you want. Just make sure that each line item property is on its own line.

PRO TIP: Line item properties are a great way to add extra details to your products, but they can also be a little confusing to set up. Before you add line item properties to your products, be sure to read the Shopify documentation carefully. There are a few things you need to know in order to set up line item properties correctly, and if you don’t follow the instructions carefully, you could end up with products that don’t work the way you want them to.

Once you’re done, click “Save” and your changes will be live.

If you want to use a third-party app to add line item properties, there are many great options available. Some of our favourites include:

Product Customizer by Bold Apps: This app lets you add unlimited customizations to your products, including line item properties.

Product Options & Customizer by Secomapp: This app also lets you add unlimited customizations to your products, including line item properties.

Product Add-ons by Bold Apps: This app lets you add up to 3 additional fields to each product in your store, which is perfect for adding line item properties.
