PRO TIP: If you are planning to add a shipping method to your Shopify store, be aware that there are some potential risks involved.

First and foremost, you should make sure that your Shopify account is properly set up and that you have all of the required information (e.g. shipping rates, etc.) before proceeding. Adding a shipping method to your store without all of the necessary information can cause problems down the road, so it’s best to be prepared from the start.

Another potential issue to be aware of is that some shipping methods can be quite expensive. If you’re not careful, you could end up spending more money on shipping than you make in sales. As such, it’s important to do your research and choose a shipping method that is both reliable and cost-effective.

Finally, keep in mind that adding a new shipping method to your Shopify store will require some additional work on your part. You’ll need to create new shipping labels, update your product pages, and more. So be prepared to put in some extra time and effort before your new shipping method is up and running smoothly.
