How do I add more Artboards in Illustrator?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 6:50 pm

Adding more artboards in Illustrator is quite simple. You can either go to the File menu and select New Artboard, or use the keyboard shortcut ( Command + Shift + A ).

Once you have added an artboard, you can use the same tools and features to manage and work with it as any other. You can resize it, move it, and even hide it if you need to.

PRO TIP: Adding more Artboards in Illustrator can be tricky and may result in losing your work if not done correctly. Make sure to save your work before adding additional Artboards and be careful when rearranging them.

If you need to create a complex design with multiple artboards, you can use the Artboard Size option in the Tools panel to divide your design up into manageable sections. This will make it easier to manage and work with, and it will also help you to keep your design coherent.

If you ever run into any problems while working with artboards, be sure to check out the Illustrator forum for help. There are often helpful members who are happy to help out with any issues that you may have.
