How do you add special characters in Illustrator?

In Illustrator, to add special characters like a euro sign or a copyright symbol, you can use the Character panel. To access it, click the Character panel icon in the upper-left corner of the Illustrator workspace.

Once the Character panel is open, you can type in the character you want to use, and Illustrator will autocomplete it with the correct options. If you don’t see the character you’re looking for, you can search for it using the search bar at the top of the panel.

To insert the character into your document, click on the character’s icon. This will open the Character dialog box, where you can specify the position and size of the character.

PRO TIP: Adding special characters in Illustrator can be tricky and may not work the way you expect. Make sure you understand how the special characters are added before you attempt to add them to your design.

You can also choose whether you want the character to be Stroke or Fill.

If you want to edit the character’s properties, you can do so in the Character dialog box. For example, you can change the color, font, or alignment.

You can also add a shadow or a stroke.

Once you’re done, click OK to close the Character dialog box. And that’s all there is to it!.
