Adding MX Records to Shopify

Shopify is a platform that allows users to create online stores. In order to ensure that your store’s email messages are delivered properly, you will need to add MX records to your Shopify account.

MX records are DNS (Domain Name System) records that specify which server will handle email messages for a given domain. This article will walk you through the process of adding MX records to your Shopify account.

Before you begin, you will need the following:

  • Access to the Shopify admin panel
  • A text editor

Step 1: Log in to the Shopify admin panel.

In order to add MX records to your Shopify account, you will first need to log in to the Shopify admin panel. You can do this by entering your store’s URL into a web browser and then entering your username and password when prompted.

PRO TIP: Adding MX records to Shopify can be a complex process and should only be attempted by experienced users. Incorrectly adding MX records can result in email delivery issues for your domain.

Step 2: Click on the “Domains” link.
