How Do I Adjust My Curve in Canva?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 10:26 pm

As a new Canva user, you’re probably wondering how to adjust your curve. Curves are a great way to add interest to your design, and they can be used to create both subtle and dramatic effects. There are a few different ways to adjust your curve in Canva:

1. Use the direct selection tool: With the direct selection tool selected, click on the point you want to move. Then, click and drag the point to where you want it.

2. Use the pen tool: With the pen tool selected, click on the point you want to move.

3. Use the anchor points: With either the pen tool or the direct selection tool selected, click on one of the anchor points on the curve. Then, click and drag the anchor point to where you want it.

4. Use the control handles: With either the pen tool or the direct selection tool selected, click on one of the control handles on the curve. Then, click and drag the control handle to where you want it.

5. Use the node editing toolbar: With either the pen tool or the direct selection tool selected, click on one of the nodes on the curve. Then, use the node editing toolbar to adjust the position of the node.

You can also use these methods to create new curves. To do this, simply click and drag with either the pen tool or direct selection tool instead of clicking on an existing point. Experiment with these methods until you find one that works best for you!

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Canva, we suggest that you seek help from someone who is before adjusting your curve. Incorrectly adjusting your curve can result in your design looking distorted or unprofessional.
