Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool – the first interface design tool with real-time collaboration. It’s used by some of the world’s leading companies, including Uber, Airbnb, Slack, and Netflix. And it’s completely free to use.

So how do you animate a Figma file?

The first thing you need to do is open up your Figma file and select the frame that you want to animate. Then, click on the “Animate” button in the top toolbar. This will open up the animation panel.

PRO TIP: Figma is a great tool for creating vector graphics, but it can be tricky to animate your designs. In this article, we’ll show you how to animate a Figma file.

In the animation panel, you can add keyframes by clicking on the “+” button. Keyframes are like snapshots of your design at different points in time. You can add as many keyframes as you like.

Once you’ve added your keyframes, you can start animating by clicking on the play button in the bottom left corner of the panel. This will play your animation back so you can see how it looks.

You can also export your animation as a GIF or video by clicking on the “Export” button in the bottom right corner of the panel.
