How Do I Change Gridlines in Wix?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 7:37 am

Gridlines are the horizontal and vertical lines that appear on a page. They help to align elements on a page and make it easier to create a consistent layout.

There are a few different ways that you can change the gridlines in Wix. You can change the color, thickness, and spacing of the lines. You can also turn them off completely if you don’t want to use them.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

To change the color of the gridlines, go to the “Design” tab and click on “Page Background.” From here, you can select a different color for the gridlines.

PRO TIP: If you are looking to change the gridlines in your Wix website, be aware that this is a risky move. Gridlines are an important part of the design of your website, and changing them can result in a less than ideal experience for your visitors. Proceed with caution!

To change the thickness of the gridlines, go to the “Design” tab and click on “Site Styles.” From here, you can adjust the width of the gridlines.

To change the spacing of the gridlines, go to the “Design” tab and click on “Layout.” From here, you can adjust the spacing between elements on your page.

You can also turn off the gridlines completely by going to the “Design” tab and clicking on “Layout.” Then, click on “Gridlines” and select “Off.”
