It’s easy to change your payment method on Shopify. You can do it from your Shopify admin, or you can use the Shopify API to change your payment method. Here’s how:

To change your payment method from your Shopify admin

1. Go to Settings > Payments.
2. Under Acceptance methods, click Choose another payment provider.
3. Select the payment provider that you want to use from the drop-down menu.
4. Follow the instructions from the payment provider to set up your account.
5. Click Activate.
6. Repeat these steps for each payment provider that you want to use.

To change your payment method using the Shopify API

If you’re a developer, you can use the Shopify API to change the payment method for a store. For example, you could use the API to develop a script that automatically changes the payment method for a store when it receives an order from a specific country.

1. Log in to your shop’s Admin area and go to Apps.
2. Click on the Manage private apps link.
3. Click on the Create a new private app button.
4. Enter in a suitable name and contact email for your private app, then click on the Create app button. Make note of the API Key, which is located under the Admin API section, then click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about changing your payment method on Shopify, there are a few things you should know first. First of all, make sure you have a backup payment method in case something goes wrong. Secondly, before changing your payment method, check to see if there are any fees or charges associated with the change. Lastly, be sure to update your Shopify settings and preferences to reflect the new payment method.
