If you’re using Shopify to sell products online, you may eventually need to change your Shopify vendor. Maybe you’re selling products that you no longer have in stock, or maybe you’re selling products on behalf of someone else and need to switch to their Shopify account. Whatever the reason, changing your Shopify vendor is a relatively easy process.

To change your Shopify vendor:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Products > All products.
  2. Click the name of the product that you want to change the vendor for.
  3. In the Product details section, click Edit.
  4. In the Vendor field, enter the name of the new vendor, or click Browse to select a vendor from your list of vendors. If the new vendor doesn’t exist in your list of vendors yet, then you can create a new vendor by clicking Create a new vendor.
  5. When you’re finished, click Save.

Conclusion:

In order to change your Shopify vendor, simply follow the steps listed above. Changing your vendor is a quick and easy process that can be done from within your Shopify admin.

Simply go to Products > All products, click on the product you want to change the vendor for, and then enter the name of the new vendor in the Vendor field. You can also browse for a new vendor or create a new one if needed. Once you’re finished, just click Save.

PRO TIP: If you are considering changing your Shopify vendor, it is important to be aware of the potential risks involved. There is no guarantee that your new vendor will be any better than your current one, and you may end up losing money or valuable data if you’re not careful. Make sure you research any new vendors thoroughly before making the switch, and always back up your data before making any changes.
