Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 9:59 am

If you’re working on a design in Figma and want to change the order of your variants, there are a few different ways you can do this.

If you have your variants organized into layers, you can simply click and drag them to rearrange them. Alternatively, you can select the variants you want to move and use the up and down arrow keys on your keyboard to change their order.

PRO TIP: If you are working on a design in Figma and need to change the order of your variants, be aware that this may affect how your design appears to others. Make sure to check with your team or clients before making any changes, as they may have a different preferred order for their variants.

If your variants are organized into frames, you can click and drag them to rearrange them, or use the up and down arrow keys on your keyboard. To select multiple variants at once, hold down the Shift key while clicking on each variant.

You can also change the order of your variants in the Variants panel. To do this, click on the variant you want to move and then use the up and down arrow keys to change its position. Alternatively, you can click and drag the variant to its new position.

No matter how you organize your variants, changing their order is a quick and easy way to experiment with different designs without having to create new versions of your design from scratch.
