How Do I Change the Font in Squarespace CSS?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 8:43 am

There are two ways to change the font in Squarespace. The first is to use the “Fonts” drop-down menu in the Design panel. Here, you can select from a variety of pre-installed fonts, or upload your own.

The second way to change the font in Squarespace is to use CSS. To do this, you’ll need to add a code block to your site and enter the CSS code for the desired font.

Here’s how to change the font in Squarespace using CSS:

1. In the Home Menu, click Design, then click Site Styles.

2. Scroll down to the “Advanced” section and click + Add Custom CSS.

3. Paste your CSS code into the box that appears and click Save.

4. Your new font will now be applied to your site!

Changing the font in Squarespace is easy, whether you use the pre-installed fonts or upload your own. Just remember to save your changes before you exit the Design panel.

PRO TIP: If you are not a web developer or familiar with CSS, we recommend not attempting to change the font in Squarespace. If you make a mistake, it could break your site.
