How Do I Change the Order of Notes in WooCommerce?

Last updated on January 11, 2023 @ 6:34 pm

If you’re using WooCommerce to sell products on your WordPress site, you may need to change the order of the notes that appear on the WooCommerce checkout page. By default, WooCommerce displays the following notes in this order:

1. Terms and Conditions

The first note that appears on the checkout page is your site’s Terms and Conditions. If you haven’t yet set up your Terms and Conditions page, WooCommerce will display a default message telling customers that they must agree to the terms before proceeding with their purchase.

2. Shipping information

The next note on the checkout page is a link to your Shipping Information page. This page contains important information about your shipping policies, such as estimated shipping times and shipping rates.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to manage your online store, it is important to know how to change the order of notes. This can be done by going to the WooCommerce settings page and selecting the “Checkout” tab. From here, you can click on the “Order Notes” section and then drag and drop the notes into the order you want them to appear in.

3. Additional information

The final note on the checkout page is a link to your Additional Information page. This page contains any other important information that customers should know before making a purchase, such as your refund policy.

To change the order of these notes:

1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout.

2.Under Checkout Pages, select the Page tab.

3. In the Order column, use the up and down arrows to change the order of the pages.

4. Click Save Changes.
