As a new website owner, you may be wondering how to change the site title font in Squarespace. Many website platforms allow you to change the font of your site title, but Squarespace makes it a little more difficult. While you can’t change the font of your site title directly in the Styles editor, you can use CSS code to make this change.

In order to change the font of your site title, you’ll need to access the code of your website. To do this, go to the Pages tab and click on the gear icon next to the home page. From here, click on Advanced and then click Code Injection.

In the code injection window, you’ll need to add the following code:

PRO TIP: Please be aware that changing the site title font in Squarespace may result in unexpected changes to the overall appearance of your website. If you are not comfortable with making such changes, it is recommended that you seek out professional help.

Replace “new font” with the name of the font you want to use for your site title. You can find a list of available fonts here.

Once you’ve added your desired font name, click Save and then Preview to see how your website looks with the new font. If you like what you see, click Save again and your changes will be live on your website.

While changing the font of your site title requires a little bit of code, it’s a relatively simple process that can be completed in just a few minutes. With a little bit of effort, you can give your website a unique look that will help it stand out from the rest.
